We recently updated Work Area's promotional and marketing materials, which included redesigning a 16-page brochure and a large fabric banner (2.3m high x 1.5m wide). However, we faced a challenge: most of the images we had were low resolution and taken from their website, so we needed high-resolution images.
At Nervenet, we like to push boundaries, so we decided to use AI to enhance the images. Initially, the results were decent, but we knew we could do better. After some adjustments, we found the right settings and uploaded the images again, and the results were excellent. The upscaled images were now suitable for large prints.
Next, we needed to create transparent backgrounds for our design. We tried using AI again, and while the results were satisfactory, they didn’t match the quality of the upscaled images. With the deadline approaching, we resorted to our usual method of using Photoshop for fine-tuning the background removal.
